Spiller on the mend

Danny Spiller may yet reappear for The Lions this season after an apparently successful operation to cure a niggling injury that has kept him out of the Millwall first team for much of the season.

Spiller has made just seven appearances for the club since signing from Gillingham last summer but manager Kenny Jackett is hopeful that the player's woes may soon be over.

"Danny has had a double hernia operation and it seems to have worked," said Jackett. "He has had a frustrating season but it seems as if this has really helped."
