Millwall boss Willie Donachie could be on the verge of making his first summer signings with the news that a loan deal for two of Tottenham Hotspur's most promising youngsters.

The Lions manager has his eye on striker Lee Barnard and midfielder Jamie O'Hara after a recommendation from the club's Chief Scout, Pat Holland, who was in charge of the youth team set-up at White Hart Lane before his move to The Den, and is looking to bring the duo in on season-long loan deal.

The 22-year-old Barnard made his debut for Martin Jol's side last summer, making three appearances in total, but has had his progress stunted by injury while England Youth Internatonal O'Hara enjoyed a successful loan spell with Chesterfield in 2006.
