Millwall look set to start tomorrow's game against Reading with only one recognised striker.

With Bob Peeters suspended and Neil Harris, Noel Whelan and Mark McCammon all out injured, new boss Dennis Wise is short of options upfront with only youngster Kevin Braniff available.

"We've been trying to get some people in on loan this week but it hasn't quite worked" explained Wise. "Hopefully we'll get a couple in next week."

Paul Ifill is the most likely makeshift option, having already played upfront a couple fo times this season, with Abou Fofana and Peter Sweeney on the wings. The injury crisis is also likely to see either Cherno Samba, Moses Ashikodi or Mark Quigley on the bench.

Despite a lack of attacking options, the new Millwall management team have decided to let Ben May continue his loan spell at Brentford.
