That was the week that was

Phew! You go away for a week and all hell breaks lose!

F**k off Denzil
Having started the month of June with three first team goalkeepers, Millwall managed to end the month with none as both Tony Warner and Andy Marshall joined Willy Gueret in a mass goalie exodus from The Den. Denzil deiced to accept the contract placed before him a week to late and was told to sling his hook so he went and joined Cardiff City while Andy Marshall decided to try his luck elsewhere after turning down his offer, so that leaves us with the possibility of next year's first choice 'keeper being Arsenal's Graham Stack, who is apparently joining us on a season's loan from The Gunners.

Elsewhere, defender Darren Ward signed a new contract while promising striker John Sutton has joined Dundee on loan for a year in order to get some first team experience under his belt.

And just to prove the fact that it always happens when you go away, Millwall have signed troublesome midfielder Jody Morris on a free. The former Chelsea and Leeds United player is The Lions first signing of the campaign, with more promised, including two new strikers... Hmmmm.
