The Battle of Wounded Knees

Last updated : 09 March 2009 By Van Blerk's Crossing
The Lions have had their fair share of injuries this season but for some of the long-term wounded, the light is finally shining at the end of the tunnel.

Unfortunately full-back Danny Senda isn't one of the them. The right-back is still troubled by a swollen knee and will have to visit the surgeon again later this week.

However, captain Paul Robinson is progressing well from his broken metatarsal and has lost the crutches while both Chris Hackett and Danny Spiller are both jogging again after their respective injuries.

Alan Dunne and Lewis Grabban are still some way off a return to the first team but both are said to be progressing well. Bless.
