Jackett: Wants to keep loan players
It may be Christmas but Millwall boss Kenny Jackett knows he has his work cut out over the festive period, not only on the playing front but also in the transfer market as he looks to strengthen his squad for the months ahead. Included in that is the on-going discussions with the parent clubs of the loan players currently at The Den.

Striker Will Hoskins has already ruled out a return after his current deal expires but Jackett is keen to keep hold of Arsenal's Jay Simpson - who earlier this week expressed an interest in staying at The Den, Bryan Hodge, Ahmet Brkovic and Marcus Bignot.

All three of the four loans expire at the beginning of the year - with Bignot set to return to QPR in February - and Jackett is hopeful he can extend the deals well into the new year.

"I would be very happy to keep all the loanees," he told the South London Press. "And I will be asking their clubs if I can. Every one of them is an individual situation."
