The Life of Grimes

Millwall's Ashley Grimes sent a timely reminder to manager Kenny Jackett ahead of this weekend's away clash against Swindon Town by scoring twice for the reserves against Aldershot.

The youngster found the net either side of half-time as The Lions ran out 2-1 winners and could have earned himself a place on the bench for the game at The County Ground with both Tresor Kandol and Neil Harris still out of action through suspension and injury respectively.

Reserve team boss Richard Shaw was able to name a strong side, with midfielders Danny Spiller and Marc Laird both featuring after a spell on the sidelines.

Millwall: Edwards, Bignot, Barron, Spiller, O'Connor, Frampton, Dunne, Laird, Grimes, Forbes, Moore.
Subs not used: Bowes, Ebsworth, Taylor, Rogers, Read.
