The shape of things to come?

Andy Ambler, Millwall's Chief Executive, has warned that the FA's decision to charge the club over events that happened at another stadium could have serious repercussions for all concerned if the footballing body upholds the charges.

"All clubs should worry about us being charged," he told the South London Press. "It could be the end of away fans because we have no control over other grounds.

"If we are still charged after taking so much care to ensure there were problems, then the only action left to us, if we were to be found guilty, would be to stop selling away tickets."
