Third Canadian to join?

Millwall are set to sign their third Canadian of the season before the weekend, according to reports in today's newspapers.

The Lions appear to have won the chase for winger Jaime Peters after the player turned down offers from a number of other clubs including Ipswich Town, Derby County and Manchester United.

The 17-year-old international is expected to finalise a move to The Den later this week after he returns from World Cup duty with Canada. The teenager, who left Kaiserslautern in the summer, is thought to have chosen The Lions after receiving rave reviews from countrymen Josh Simpson and Adrian Serioux. He also has family in London, which is also thought to have influenced his decision.

Serioux, meanwhile, is believed to be carrying a shoulder injury, which if true, would affect his effectiveness at throw-ins.
