Ticket allocation cut in half

Millwall's allocation for their Second Round Carling Cup tie against West Ham has been cut in half to around 1,500 tickets.

All but 600 of those tickets have already been sold to season ticket holders leaving members and other fans with very little chance of obtaining one, leading to fears that many will attempt to sit in the home end on the night.

"It would seem to us," Andy Ambler, Millwall's managing director told the Evening Standard. "To be far more sensible to give as many Millwall supporters the chance to watch the match safely and securely within the visitors' section at the ground."
