The popular Dane, who scored ten goals last season, is thought to be a target for Bournemouth plus an unamed Scottish First Division side after his move to Dutch club St Truiden at the last minute.
However Hubertz, who this week started training with the reserves, would prefer to stay at The Den, where has another year to run on his contract.
"If I move, we would have to find a new home for me and my girlfriend and our two children, and new schools for them.
"I think if I had been playing for Millwall, I would have done well. But it is up to the manager, and I have to respect his views.
"I would love to stay in England and maybe play against Millwall back at The Den if I get a transfer."
