The 22-year-old, who joined the Lions on a permanent basis last summer following a successful loan spell, has committed himself to the club until 2014.
"Things have gone very well for me and for Millwall over the past 12 months and I'm looking forward to being part of things here for the foreseeable future," he said.
"These are exciting times. After winning promotion at Wembley we are having a good first season in the Championship and everyone at the club is hungry for more success."
