Millwall Football Club has issued a statement ahead of Friday's UEFA Cup First Round Draw with regards to travel arrangements.

In a announcement on the club's official website, Millwall F.C. stated the following:

"The Club would like to advise supporters that wish to attend the away match of the tie as follows:

When we know who our opponents will be, in accordance with UEFA recommendations, Club Officials will be flying out to the away venue to check on the facilities on offer, ticket availability, segregation procedures, etc and in conjunction with the Club's appointed travel agents, will finalise details for the Club's official tour.

The Club regards the use of the official tour as an essential part of the experience. In the event that we are drawn away for the first leg, full details are likely to be announced by Friday 3rd September 2004 and supporters are strongly advised not to book independent travel arrangements in advance of the announcement.

The method of allocation of tickets and sale procedure will be decided once the number of tickets available for our supporters has been determined.
The Club will seek the views of the MSC Committee before announcing its decision.

However, our ticket allocation for the away leg could be as little as 5% of the capacity and in some stadia, this would mean a very small allocation of tickets for our supporters.

The usual rules will apply in respect of away match tickets. There will no general sale of tickets to non Season Ticket holders or non Members of the Millwall Supporters Club.

The person with the Season ticket or membership must be the person travelling to the away match and using the ticket."
