According to reports in today's Derby Evening Telegraph, County defender Jamie Vincent could yet become a Millwall player.

The 30-year-old's loan spell came to an end shortly before Christmas but with manager David Tuttle looking to strengthen his threadbare squad, a move to The Den is still on the cards.

"We've given Millwall permission to play Jamie in behind-closed-doors games so he can prove his fitness to them," said Rams boss Phil Brown.

"If he can do that, there is a chance he could join them this month."

Vincent played 17 games during his loan spell but lost his place to Tony Craig after picking up a hamstring injury in November.
