Millwall are on the verge of signing Cameroon international Vincent Pericard on a 93-day loan and manager Kenny Jackett is keeping his fingers crossed that a deal can be worked out in time for the striker to be available for the visit of Brighton and Hove Albion on Saturday.

The former Sheffield United and Portsmouth player is keen to move in order to get some playing time under his belt this season after failing to break into the Premiership outfit's first team squad this season.

"It's a good move for us," reflected Jackett. "His size and presence is something we've lacked since Tresor Kandol left the club."
