Millwall Football Club have decided to follow in the footsteps of Leeds United next season and have two shirt sponsors.

Electronic manufacturers Beko announced last week that they will continue to be The Lions main sponsors for the 2005/06 season and today the club announced that they'll be having a second sponsor on the back.

Gatwick-based Air frieght firm DAS Air Cargo, who transport goods all over the world, have signed up following the change in regulations about teams have two sponsors.

DAS managing director Andy King said: "We are already well-known in the Air Cargo community, but we are now looking to become more of a household name for potential clients.

"We have a facility just a stone's throw from The Den. Millwall is situated within a multi-cultural community, and DAS Air Cargo have a significant number of clients in the South London area already, with personal traffic going especially to Nigeria, Ghana and Uganda. "

The club is very active in the community and we hope we can help each other using the contacts we have."

Chairman elect Jeff Burnige added: "We have taken advantage of new FA-approved regulations for Football League clubs, which allow us to feature the name of a secondary sponsor on the back of our playing kit.

"We are particularly pleased DAS Air Cargo have chosen us, because we firmly believe that this relationship will yield mutual benefits beyond the purely financial.

"It is great from our point of view that a respected multi-national company like DAS recognises our exciting potential and is backing Millwall in a very big way."
