Walking wounded improving

Kenny Jackett's merry band of walking wounded are beginning to show signs of improvement, with the manager hopeful of having a full-strength squad to choose from in the near future.

Strikers Gary Alexander and Ashley Grimes are on the road to recovery but still some way off from returning to training but Steve Morison is back with the first team squad after picking up a dead leg during Saturday's 3-1 win over high-flying Huddersfield Town, in which he scored his first goal for the club. Fellow striker Jason Price is hopeful of joining him later this week and could be included in the squad for Saturday's game against Leyton Orient.

At the back Tony Craig is now able to do some light running while Paul Robinson is  close to a return after undergoing surgery last month. However Zak Whitbread and Pat O'Connor are still long-term patients and aren't expected to return this side of Christmas.
