Walking wounded making steady progress

After what seems like an eternity of injuries, Dennis Wise finally received some good news before Christmas with the return of Neil Harris and Bob Peeters to the First Team squad. However, Wisey could a few selection headaches on the horizon with several other players ready to make a return to action.

Iffy
Striker Mark McCammon has started running again, and although has had slight swelling on his knee, could rejoin full training within the next couple of weeks while Paul Ifill has made very good progress following his groin operation last month. Youngsters Charley Hearn (groin) and Tony Craig (pelvis) are both back in training while left-back Robbie Ryan (calf) is making steady progress, although still a week or two away from being available for selection.

Bob Peeters looks set to start upfront alongside Neil Harris for tomorrow's Third Round FA Cup tie at home to Walsall as Everton refused permission for Nick Chadwick to play in the game. The Lions have no further injury but both Tim Cahill and Tony Warner could miss out following speculation that they could both be on their way out of the club during the Transfer Window.
