Whitbread: Extending loan
Liverpool defender Zak Whitbread has extended his loan spell with The Lions and will remain at the club for the rest of the season.

The 21-year-old has also been granted permission to play in this season's FA Cup competition by his parent club and will be hoping to be part of the squad that takes on Everton this Saturday.

Whitbread, who can operate in the centre of defence or at left-back, initially joined Millwall on loan in November and has impressed many with his solid performances for The Lions.

Bruce Dyer, meanwhile, has returned to Stoke City after completing his two-month loan spell at The Den, scoring twice in nine appearances.
