Zebroski celebrates his opener

Striker Chris Zebroski received glowing praise from caretaker boss Willie Donachie after the youngster turned in an impressive display against Port Vale at the weekend which included his first goal for the club.

Zebroski, 20, opened the scoring in the first half and was unlucky not to add another in the second, helping to fill the void left by Danny Haynes after he returned to Ipswich Town last week.

"He's vital to us at the moment," admitted Donachie. "He's not the finished article by a long way but he's keen to work, keen to learn.

"He does the things that I wouldn't like to play againsy."
